When are the holdings of a mutual fund updated?

Mutual funds don’t update their holdings in real time.
Here’s how it usually works:

  1. AMCs (Asset Management Companies): They release a monthly factsheet around the 10th of each month.

  2. Coin (Zerodha's platform): Updates holdings between the 10th and 15th of the following month.

  3. SEC (U.S. regulator): Requires mutual funds to disclose full holdings every quarter.

Some funds provide monthly updates too.
