How to redeem or sell mutual fund investments?
On Web:
- Select the Fund to Redeem
- Navigate to the Product Holdings Table.
- Hover over the row of the fund you wish to redeem.
- Click on the Redeem Icon.
- Enter Redemption Details
- A drawer will open with all the necessary fields.
- Choose between Redeem (sell the units directly) or SWP (Systematic Withdrawal Plan) , if available, this allows for regular withdrawals.
- Enter the amount or units you wish to redeem.
- Click on Continue.
- Review and Confirm
- Check the tax implications and order details.
- Click Continue.
- Verify OTP
- Enter the OTP sent to your registered phone number or email.
- Click Verify.
- After OTP verification, you'll receive an email confirmation of your redemption request. The funds will be processed according to the fund house's terms, typically reflecting in your account within a few days.
On App:
- Go to Your Investments
- Open the app and navigate to the Invest tab.
- Under My Funds, find and tap on the Mutual Fund you want to redeem.
- Select the Folio
- Scroll to the Folio section.
- Choose the folio from which you want to redeem.
- Enter Redemption Details
- Enter the amount or units you wish to redeem.
- Tap Continue.
- Review & Confirm
- Carefully check the holding distribution and redemption details.
- Slide the button to place your order.
- Verify OTP
- Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email.
- Tap Verify.
Note:
- The time taken for redemption proceeds to reflect in your account can vary based on the mutual fund's policy.
- Check for any exit load or penalties associated with the redemption before proceeding.
